1930s Stardust Skirt

Multi-Size - 24-40 Waist

This graceful asymmetrical skirt is from a vintage couture pattern from the early 1930s. It has two godets or panels left of center front. There is no side seam on the left; the skirt back extends around to the front with a side dart for shaping. Zipper closure on the right side seam. Mid calf length.

1930s Beach Romper

Multi-Size - 30-46 Bust

Halter style on the top, this romper is anchored by a skort and wrap skirt combination on the bottom. It features very clever style lines cut on the bias. Take the bias grain line into consideration when choosing your fabric. Uneven plaids and uneven stripes might not be suitable.

1930s Leading Lady Couture Evening Gown

Multi-Size - 30-46 Bust

Simple tank style bodice with low back and blouson at waist.  Side placket opening with snaps in bodice above the waist.  Side sipper at hip.  Fully lined.  Difficulty lever is advanced.

1930s Last Resort Beach PJs

Multi-Size - 30-46 Bust

One-piece beach pajamas have a daring V-neck in the back that plunges to the waist with slim fitting hips and wide pant legs.  Boxy unline jacket is loose fitting and has shoulder darts and optional diamond appliqués on sleeve.

1930s Miss L's Coat Dress

Multi-Size - 30-52 Bust

This one is true to the early-ish 1930s silhouette with a slim fit and 3" of ease at the bust and waist and 5" of ease at the hips.  There are shoulder and fisheye darts in the front for shaping and the back has double princess seams.  The sleeves are pieced with contrast fabric to achieve maximum drama, but the constructions is a breeze.  11 self fabric covered buttons complete the vintage aesthetic.  Fully lined.

1930s Corsage Dress

Multi-Size - 32-52 Bust

Slim-fitting 1930s dress with a dramatic collar, bell sleeve, with fabric flower details and inset pleats.  Shaping is achieved with darts at the side bust and waist.  Side zipper closure.  The Corsage dress has 3' of east at the bust, 2" at the waist and 6" at the hip.

1931 Parisienne Coat

Size A 30-34, Size B 36-40, Size C 42-46

The coat is unlined and has a series of shaped tucks on the sleeve that add extra panache to the elegant bell shape of the sleeve. It has a clutch closure in the front so the coat has lots of ease around the body. The shoulders and sleeves are a more true fit (so don’t downsize or it might end up being to tight for your liking.) The oversized collar can be made from contrasting fabric like perhaps a fabulous faux fur. There is an optional flounce for the bottom edge.

1931 Matinee Blouse

Multi-Size - 30-46 Bust

This vintage pattern from 1931 is our tribute to all the wonderful Hollywood actresses of the 1930s and to their even more wonderful wardrobes. We can imagine quite a few of them wearing this elegant blouse. The best part is that you don’t have to imagine it; you can make it! The cowl yoke is cut on the bias and can be made from a contrasting fabric. The set in sleeve has two options; long and slim, or, long and pieced with fullness gathered into a wristband. Side zipper opening. Choice of hip-length peplum or knee length tunic. 2” of ease at the waist and 4” of ease at the bust. A self fabric tie belt is optional.

1933 Evening Gown

Size A 30-34, Size B 36-40, Size C 42-46

The side skirt piece is cut to take advantage of bias drape. The back is low cut but not too daring. The front neckline is a flattering V-neck with a triangular cut out for added glamour. The fit is what you might expect. There is 4” of ease at the bust but only 3” of ease at the hips. Bodice is self lined and the skirt is fully lined

1940's Apron from Val's Kitchen

One Size

The apron has a separate neck piece, a hear-shaped pocket and it provides full frontal coverage for cooking.  The edges are finished with bias binding.

1948 Siren Sundress

Multi-Size - 30-46 Bust

This vintage sundress pattern from 1948 can be casual or extremely sophisticated depending on your fabric choice. Either way—the dress is beautiful! The bodice is backless with straps that cross in the back, wrap around the front waist and meet in the back again for a tie. The skirt is quite full but there is no gathering at the waist for a flattering silhouette. The bodice is lined but the straps are only one layer so the wrong side of the fabric will show. Waistline has inside belt of grosgrain ribbon.

1940's Empire Waist Trousers

Multi-Size - 24-44 Waist

Want to know how to make your legs look long and sleek? Try a pair of high-waisted pants from this vintage pattern. Deep cuffs and wide legs on the trousers really capture the look of the 40s. High-waisted trousers have invisible zipper at center back, and darts in the front and back for shaping. 2” cuff at bottom of straight, very wide leg. Finished inseam about 30”.
