This gown was made of bluet-blue cloth with a vest of dark blue velvet and braiding in dark blue soutache.  The waist is a belted blouse, cut low on the velvet vest, with the fronts connected by a clasp.  Design for soutache braid included.

40 Bust - 27 Waist

This model was made of one material throughout, and is suitable for any of the new winter woolens either in a plain or in a checked fabric.  It is trimmed with braded ornaments composed of wool soutache edged with silk cord.  A plastron of braid is on the front and back of the waist, the collar is of braid, and scrolls trim the sleeves and the slashed sides of the polonaise.  Pattern consists of polonaise, skirt and foundation skirt.

The dress illustrated is made of wool that has a bronze ground finely checkered with écru lines.  A deep bronze velvet revers is on the overskirt, and the basque has revers, collar, cuffs, and pocket flaps of velvet.  Pattern consists of bodice, draperies, skirt and foundation skirt.
