About Us

        Highland Baptist Church in an independent, Baptist Church. Established in 1942, Highland Baptist Church is the oldest church in the Babelay Road community. Over the past 78-years the Lord has blessed us beyond belief. Many lives have been changed and lost souls saved through the power and conviction of the Holy Spirit. We believe you will find a warm fellowship of believers and a place you will feel welcome to worship in Spirit and in Truth.

Our Music

        We sing traditional hymns and gospel music in our worship services. We use the red back Church Hymnal and the Inspiration Hymnal. Choir participation is voluntary and everyone is welcome to join in. There are also opportunities for specials and solos. For a sample visit our YouTube page.

Which Bible Is Used

        We teach and preach from the Authorized King James Version of the Bible.

What To Wear

        There is not a dress code at Highland Baptist Church. The majority of our members dress in traditional Sunday attire; suits, ties, dresses, however, you will find folks wearing a variety of clothing.
